I buy People magazine and was wondering...was there a January 1st issue? I have the December 25th one and bought the January 8th one, but never saw one inbetween at the stores. Did I miss it?

I was wondering about the schedule for getting them also. I looked today and saw that the one we got yesterday and the one before it where both double issues? Do you think that is why?

not sure but before, when it said "double issue" there was still a new one the next week! However, I don't think I have ever seen two double issues in a row. So you never got a January 1st issue either?

No Jan 1rst one. We got the Dec 25th one with the best and worst of 2006, and todays that has half their sizes on it. They are both double issues. I hope there will be one at the end of this week. I will be disapointed if their isn't. I look forward to them every week

No Jan. 1 issue -- the Dec. 25th issue was a "double issue" and counted for 2 weeks. I think they should've put in 2 crossword puzzles in the double issue -- I love doing those things!

While I love double issues for their thickness, I don't like missing a week!!!

BTW -- consider ordering People as it's cheaper than buying it on the newsstands. Sure, it's up-front pricey, but worth it in the end (unless you're getting some super newsstand deal!).
