We got almost 7 inches in the north part of the city by O'Hare, and 9 inches by Midway. Schools are open today :)

You know that always bugged me! I swear CPS hardly ever gave us a snow day! Grr...it could snow a foot and be 0 degress and they'd still have school

Here in Nebraska we are expected a party cloudy day with a high of 35. We got the storm you were hit with a few days ago, but it must have strengthened because we only got about 3-4 inches, if that.

8:00 a.m. six inches on the ground. Suburb of Detroit. Most schools are closed. I had a vacation day scheduled for today, so I don't have to face driving into work YAY!

8:00 am...we have almost 6" on the ground..it's stopped snowing but the wind is starting to blow..schools are closed..but that's not unusual..they have closed for less!

Rain here on Long Island. At midnight they were still saying 3-6" and now all rain. :confused3

6-10 was forecasted, we got a trace. It was almost all ice, about an inch of frozen slush outside this morning. Most schools north of I64 in Kentucky are closed today, most south of I64 are open.

8 inches officially recorded at Fort Wayne Airport. Lots of blowing and drifting today.

NO SCHOOL ANYWHERE!!!! :Pinkbounc

At home in bergen County, NJ there's about 6 on ground, but here in NYC it's a big sloppy mess with huge puddles, but snowing hard. Thank goodness I bought these great Lands End boots.

Southern coastal Maine checking in. 9:15am- just woke up, what a nice long sleep! All schools are closed in the area. It started snowing early this morning, is expected to snow throughout the day, heavy at times, with accumulations from 6-12 inches. Just another typical day in Maine. :)

We got betweeen 6-8 inches and i am west of cincinnati.
Kim

western ma here, we've got about 3 inches so far and no stopping in sight. the university i work at is closed today.

We only got about 2-3 inches instead of the drilling we were supposed to get but the winds are something else (40mph) and have been like that all night. Still a few flakes coming down. The wind chills are in the single digits and most schools are closed. Why don't they close works too? :cold:

We only got about 2 inches but they closed schools anyway. What a waste of a snow day!

About 7 inches on the ground in central Pennsylvania. The sun is shining brightly now.

We have about an inch of slushy sleet and snow on the ground here in Virginia. It rained and sleeted for a while before it turned over to snow.

It's a nasty mess. No school for any of the area schools.

Starting snowing around 4:30 am and it's still going strong. Our estimates were 5-10"...we're already at the low estimate and it's supposed to continue until late afternoon. Getting the ski wax out now!!

I woke up at 5:30am here in CT and there was no snow yet, by 6:30am when I woke up again it was snowing. Now it's 11:20am and we have 7 inches atleast. I haven't been out to measure in about 90 minutes. I'll report back after work today.. :)
