I'd love to, but I think the shows are new this week on ABC (The Middle, Suburgatory, Modern Family). So I'll be watching those instead.
Enjoy the show, though.![]()

I guess not too much interest in People's Choice Awards. I'm sure there will be a Golden Globes thread this Sunday. Those are always fun!
OMG, that last singer, Demi Lovato was PAINFUL to listen too.I don't think she could find one note she was looking for. Searching all over for them.
TERRIBLE. And she won?![]()
Barney just wished for extinction.
Who was she up against

She won for female pop star I think
My guess would be Katy Perry, LAdy Gaga. My guess the reasson she won, she could be there they couldn;t

They still win by vote, but they're told whether or not they won in advance. That usually determines whether or not they show up. There's no real 'surprise' at the People's Choice Awards, they show is pretty planned out in advance once the voting is done.
Demi Lovato is a former Disney Channel star who spent time in a treatment facility for an eating disorder and (I believe) depression.
I didn't watch the show, but from what I understand she's been through a lot and has been doing quite well. I'm thinking her fans voted her in as a way of support. That's better than the Twitter universe, which made a big deal of calling her fat after her first post-treatment appearance a few months ago. Stay classy, internet.![]()
I some how think if you are able to attend you are more likely to get more votes and win
How? Unless you are suggesting that the it is rigged and that the winners are not actually based on the votes from the public. It is not like the potential winners announce ahead of time whether or not they can attend, so those voting (i.e. the general public) wouldn't have that information at the time that they vote and, thus, cannot be basing their votes on that.
I think the winners know in advance if they win or not.
