Pens/Markers

I have been scrapping for well over 5 years and have always used Sharpies for my journaling. Just curious what others use - should I be using something different? Are Sharpies a good choice?

I use a variety of pens...

I have gel pens I got from Hobby Lobby (some of them work, some don't depends on the day.. I lay them flat in a drawer)
I have several metallic pens I bought at JoAnn's (with a coupon)
I have been given by my mom as gifts some CM marker like pens (they are fabulous).

I use CM pens too. Also sakura - a white gel pen for faux stitching

I LOVE Sharpies! I carry a selection of the extra fine in my bag everywhere I go

I have the Stampin' Up set of markers. I like those too, but tend to reach for the Sharpies more.
