After periods of heavy rain yesterday evening, heavy traffic, and Carries Garmin being an older one that took us out of our way, we arrived in Fl around 9:15 after several texts from Genesis and Tom asking Are we there yet and me and Kayla asking it every hour on the hour, but Carrie was a g ood sport throughout it all and since I had to work while we were traveling she was also a good sport and drove all the way here. I plan on driving back so we should get home in 10 hours....lol


Hello...sitting here in the Mariott working this morning,(trip mojo didnt end up working its magic and I had to work after all but thats ok, I am in FL) but should be able to get out of here at around 3 to go have fun although I am on the clock today and tomorrow til 9pm(we have a lot of West Coast business) PenQ,Carrie and Kayla are having fun at HS.... This morning looked like it was going to be rather dreary but all of a sudden the sun peeked out and it is a Beautiful Day!!!!!!! Had a wonderful long conversation with The Hoseman this morning and he too is off having fun for the weekend... Not much mischief I can get into alone here in my room... so not much going on but I am happy and content just to be here.....No reports from Carrie of any ToT mishaps so Teresa it looks like all is in place for your ToT ride in December...

Good Morning from sunny Florida!!!

Today we get to check out of the Marriott and check into the timeshare!!! We will finally have a home. Be able to unpack and get grocries.

I have found I love this staying off site thang. Last night we stayed for Illuminations and after it was over we were able to walk to the car and just leave. No long waiting for buses, standing, with screaming kids. And then we were back to the hotel within 15 minutes. Love it. Love having the options of food offsite and all that good stuff.

Yesterday at Hollywood Studios was a made house. I think we waited well over 60 minutes for RNR and after we used our Fast Passes for Toy Story the stand by line for it was 120 Minutes... 2 Hours can you imagine!!!!

Well today will be a lazy start. But we will end it this evening in one of the parks. Have not decided yet. I will share photos after. Most of the good ones are on my phone and I need to get the card adapter out of the car.

So..yes, finally last night I was able to get to The World....EPCOT...Now, I finally feel like I am on vacation, although again today I am working til 9pm...
Here are a couple of pics, most are on my phone and I too need to get the other laptop out to insert sd card..

..and since a certain Goofy Person made the drunken statement that I am the responsible, cultured(yes, he said cultured like a pearl which proves the drunken part)adult here I just want you to know that so far I have fixed a laptop, fixed the coffee maker, fixed a wardrobe malfunction and fixed a mister fan, provided coffee in bed...and thats just in one day
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and I will try to post more pics once we get settled in at the timeshare....

Let's backtrack a little bit to give you a couple of pictures....
Carrie and Kayla arrive in VA and Marie is very happy The two girls decide to sleep out on the floor Thursday night after playing beauty shop/makeup artists with Maries Bratz Doll Head...

The next morning an extremely sleepy Marie tells Kayla goodbye before she has to go to school... Very upset young lady on that ride to school that morning, and the only way I could get her out of it was to give her a piece of hot gum and it shocked a smile onto her face...

That is two cups of hot chocolate sittingon the stool there...and that is a Marie tradition...............
Then it was back to the house to load the Liber-tay and head on down the road following the faithful yet out of date Garmin....

I am happy to be on the way....

This cute orange Mickey Head just seemed to lead the way to The Happiest Place on Earth...(which is later called the Frigginest Happiest Place on Earth...lol...dont ask you will get the drift later on)

As we are going down the road Kayla shows me this cute Mickey she had drawn, she is quite the little artist...

Everytime I looked over at Carrie this is what she was doing...

I had promised you a picture of the truck and the driver but I thought about that afterwards and you just really truly never know if someone is married or not so I thought that might not be a good idea but here is the truck from afar..he wasnt an owner/operator...(but he was cute and sweet..lol)

Sometimes it seemed like it was taking us forever to get there...(I have told you already of the traffic and the "are we there yet" moments...Let me add a few of the pictures taken on the road...
There was a whole lot more of this....(I explained to Carrie that this is illegal in NC and SC...not sure about the other states)

I worked along the way....(well at this moment the screen saver was on but I truly was working....lol)

A little more flirting with those we were tailgating...

By this time PenQ was starting to get annoying with the "Are we there yet"

If we hadnt had a child with us I imagine by now Carrie and I would have stopped and had "too much tequila" with Pedro...

From SC onward we went...PenQ was being naughty with Stitch but I cannot show you that picture since it is a family board...

So...finally we hit the GA state line....

Carrie has had to endure several hours of "Are we there yet" and now Tom and Genesis are chiming in
I thought this quilt was beautiful.....

Am I encouraging Kayla to take her time...?? NO WAY!!!

The sun is beautiful as it is starting to sink a little farther intot he western skyline....

and once again we are on our way....

By now Randy is chiming in with his thoughts on the whole process of why we are not responding to him and giving us advice on where he thinks is the cheapest place for us to get gasoline....The miles are flying by and we are really looking forward to seeing that Florida sign......
Of course by now we are seeing more of this....

We can tell we are getting closer now...

WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally we are in Florida...

and yes I know the Miami sign is in the Carolinas and not in Fl.....lol
PenQ is ever so Happy to see the Mariott and we crash for the night..........
