Penny Sleeper hotel

Does anyone have any info on this place? How far walking distance, shuttle buses and are they freaquent etc

This is a motel near Hojo. It is a bit farther than Hojo so would be about 8-10 minute walk to the parks. I know of one person who styed here and here said is was just okay. In general it is reviewed as mediocre.
In this picture locate the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel on the very right hand side of the photo. Just to the left of the words "plaza hotel" is the Pennysleeper. It is the long gray building and the series of small gray buildings. http://www.beachcalifornia.com/dlmp.html

We stayed there 4 years ago and I was not impressed. I certainly wouldn't stay there again. It wasn't very clean, the staff were not hellpful at all and it was SO noisy as it's right up against the highway.
I'd pass on this one!
