Thank you to those thinking of us due to the tsunami warning. We are now all clear, and nothing has happened here for us, but there has been areas that were affected.

Please everyone, to post here when you mail things out. I do keep track of mailings along with dates-on time, late mailings.....and sometimes it helps to see how long it takes for things to arrive, and it lets us figure out-especially for international mailings if there is a problem..... we can ask the sender what the postmark date is, if it was indeed mailed when mentioned-since recipents do wait for their exchange, and we try to figure things out.

We just need to weed out the iffy exchangers, and sometimes this does prevent them from participating again, and in return it helps from having to resend or get elves.

Hi Patsy! Sorry, this week has been a little crazy for me. I'm having a dinner party here tonight and I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the post office. checking in. ok no laugh too hard but I sent my letter out and put my zip code on it so it came back and I had to resend it.

I am going to start check ins for this upcoming week from the regular check in time of MONDAY till FRIDAY. I will post that check ins are open later on tonight my time so that everyone can start checking in officially even when I am asleep. I am going to do this to see how many people are actually reading the posts as I mentioned to do, and see if people are following the rules. I am NOT going to remind ANYONE to check in this week. Sorry guys but I feel that some have kept their end of the deal while I had more on my plate to do, and sometimes as people have told me before this could be a way to pick out those who just do not follow through. So we will see how this week goes, and I am sure we have a good group, and those that needed to be picked out are out.


And, I am starting to put together the next round of pen pal letter swaps-July-December. But will let all of you know when it is officially up.
