Pembe or Sunset ?

Hi all....
Checking in to Kidani on Oct 6. Wondering if either the Pembe or Sunset savanna was the better one to request ? It shows up on MS as a "request" when checking in online. Overall, my priority is to be close (or semi close) to the lobby area. So not sure if that makes a difference either ? Thanks !

Sunset - definately! There is no comparison. Try to request "close to lobby" if possible. You may have to call to get that one.

One thing the Pembe has that I think isn't so nice, is you can see the service road beyond the fence. I've been on the Pembe and the Sunset, the Pembe was fine because we saw lots of animals, but I think the view is a bit better if you are on the Sunset Savannah.

Of course, if you want to see Okapi from your room, they are only in the Pembe. Pembe also has the red river hogs and they are a favorite of mine too. They run around and chase each other, so something special to see.

Ahhh, thanks Bobbi....I had forgotten the river hogs and Okapi are strictly on Pembe. Good to know
