Currently, we use a Snap 'n Go with our DD's car seat. We are looking to buy a stroller that we can not only use at WDW (we'll be going in Oct when she's 8 months old), but also when we are at home in the mall/stores, etc. I'd like a stroller that reclines as much as possible so that DD can nap comfortably, has a really good sunshade and has a good storage basket.

I've done A LOT of research online and read reviews here on Disboard and I think we have it narrowed down to the Peg Perego Centro Completo or the Pliko P3. It seems like the Centro may be discontinued so I'm concerned as to why they stopped making it. I can get a 2007 Centro for $140 or a 2007 Pliko P3 for $180. Please tell me which one we will like better. Thanks!

We're big Pliko fans over here.

We have the P3 and the Peg carseat as well and love them both. DS has been in the stroller since birth and loves it. It's comfy for him, reclines to near flat, and the sun shade is really big. What I like about it is that it folds up pretty small, is not that heavy and doesn't take up any more room in the back of our vehicle than a golf bag would. We've also bought an extra cup holder (it only has one) and the rain cover, which zips onto the shade.

I don't know anything about the other you're considering though, so I can't compare. :-)

we have the P3 and love it! DD is 3 and will fit in to it forever. I love the tray, and also that the tray is removeable. The storage underneath may be a little smaller than some, but if we have to, we just hang a bag on the handles. DH loves the adjustable handles, it makes it more comfortable for him to push!
I hesitated to get this stroller, we had a big Graco one that was just to big since we fly quite often and like to take our stroller. Once I bought it I realized it was one of the best baby equipment purchases I made!

we have a p3 and we are bringing it to disney again but this time with our daughter in it.
our 3 yo does fit in it but looking at a higher weight limit more umbrella stroller for him for our august trip.

I have an older Pliko, and it has been great - through 2 kids, infant, toddler, preschool stages, at Disney, malls, etc. I think that you would be happier long term with the P3, and you wouldn't feel like you need to buy an umbrella when your child is older, like so many do. I describe the Pliko/P3 as an umbrella on steroids. It is full featured with the recline and hood, yet folds compactly like an umbrella (which makes it easier to manhandle, such as in and out of the trunk).

Enjoy!

We've got the pliko p3 and absolutely love it. I used to have one of the huge Graco strollers and had to fold down one of the back seats in order for it to fit in my car. I love the p3 because it has all of the features and comfort of a larger stroller but folds up very nicely and fits great in the back of my car without having to put a seat down. Like the pp said it is an umbrella on steroids I highly recommend it.

I just ordered a Pliko P3 and can't wait until it gets here!!! We had a Chicco travel system (which I loved), but the stroller is now just getting too big and takes up too much room in my car. We have a Phil & Teds Sports Buggy, which I love for walking and jogging, but the lack of a snack tray makes it hard to take shopping and out and about. We wanted to get an umbrella stroller, and liked all the features of the Pliko and the fact that it folded like an umbrella. Can't wait to get it! :thumbsup2

Kelly, you're going to love it!! We were so glad to have it at Disney in January -- and loved how it folded for the buses -- sure beat the heck out of all those people with the big, bulky Gracos, etc!

That's great to hear, Mel!! We are taking Brady back to Disney in September, and we wanted something the folded better than the Chicco one - and I LOVE the fact that the hood comes all the way down to protect from the sun. When we took him this past December, we were still using the whole travel system, so the Chicco was fine, and we liked it....but knew it wasn't our "stroller of choice" for the fall! It is due to arrive on Tuesday! I can't wait! :yay:

LOVE THE P3!!! I used ours for almost 5 years--heavy use and lots of airplane trips. Sadly it was completely trashed by United on our last trip to WDW. It is now basically unusable, but my DH thinks we should get another P3, as our DS is only 2 and still has a bit more time in it. BTW, I hve MANY strollers and they range in price from $20-1200 and the P3 is the best of them all for overall versatility. I know all the Mac people out there are crazy for their Macs, but I really did find the P3 to be the ultimate WDW stroller. I could go on and on about the compact size, the way it folds almost flat, the big sunshade, etc... Oh, I almost forgot about my very favorite feature, the ride on footboard in the back for an older child. I can't tell you how many times we used this for our DD4 when it was crowded, she was tired, or we just needed to really hoof it to get somewhere fast. I'm now convincing myself that we really do need another P3.

Thanks for all of your input everyone. Looks like the P3 is going to be the stroller for us!

:thumbsup2 Another P3 fan here!

We bought one for our daughter when she was born. She is 4 now and it still looks and rides as smooth as it did when we bought it. It has taken 3 trips to WDW and it is so easy to get on and off the buses and use in the parks.
We also bought the zip in rain cover. That works great!

We just order the Pliko P3! DH and I finally got to BRU today to try it out (they only had 2008 models for $340) and we really liked it so we came straight home and ordered a 2007 model for $180 on albeebaby.com!

I  my Pliko P3! I have been using it for about a week now, and just love it!! It folds so nice - and we got the seat to recline all the way by taking out the gray plastic tabs, so that is great!! The whole strap-restraint system is so fantastic - Brady can move all around, yet still be secure in the stroller. Can't wait to take it to Disney in September!!

Final verdict.... :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
