PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

DH does all our Christmas shopping, I guess I should say buying. He researches it on the internet, decides where and when and then does the purchasing. I get to wrap it all.

But I do the Disney shopping!:thumbsup2

Jordan, Michelle did our front cover artwork for the binder this week. It has to stay hidden in her room (the black hole) so Danielle doesn't see it.

I love my crocs, but I can't do the covered-toe ones. My feet are big enough already. I have these:

adara_10119_side_067.jpg

and they were completely comfy last summer at WDW in the rain. Much better than my poor husband's wet socks and shoes. I can't stand wet feet, so I love these.

If it's not raining in February I'll most likely have on my Mephistos, they were crazy expensive but I walked all over Italy and France in them and never got a blister. :thumbsup2

I noticed once I got married that my more “holy vestments” would mysteriously disappear. As to shoes, I choose not to go there. :thumbsup2

Give the crocs a chance! :thumbsup2

is that anything like give peace a chance....

Wow Jordan, a shopping update! I think you are looking at 600+ for that list you got going. Unless you get some primo deals. I couldn't afford to go on the trip if I bought all new clothes for it ahead of time - I just hope I've bought enough throughout the year between each trip that I won't be wearing the same outfits in the pictures as I was in the previous year's pics.:goodvibes

I'll save the receipts and see where I come out.

I'm going shopping tonight.

So.. chonies. I think that must be a SoCal thing. (The term, not the wearing of them;)) - I think I've heard it from my cuz from Huntington Beach. Tell me you are not still sporting the same ones from the China pics?! Those were definitely on their last legs!:lmao:

I am not sporting any of those from the China trip...but close....:scared1:

It's certainly beginning to look that way... :sad2:

I'm in your camp, Jordan. Really have never loved shopping, want to get in, find it and get out. All this browsing frustrates me!

Except at a place like Michaels or Hobby Lobby...:rolleyes1

I'm looking online right now and trying to decide what I'm getting so I can get in and get out.

I walked into a Michaels and it was like walking into an alien world. I had NO idea a place like that existed.

I saw some croc flip flops that I liked but will probably stick with my Rainbows for the trip...

I know. Glennbo has already expelled me from the man club....:worship:

I love your TRs - so entertaining! I thought I would come out of lurkdom to recommend that you check the sierra trading post website. They have great deals on the shoe brands you mentioned. I got some Keen hiking boots really cheap. I wear the Keen Venice H2 in the parks. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. Good luck on the shopping!

party::welcome:party:

Thanks for coming out of lurkdom..figure it would be about shoes..;)

I'm going to check the shoe sitch tonight......

The shopping report! Yea!! I've been away for awhile but I made it in time for the "Great Shopping Debate"!
I love my crocs! I have some that are like mary janes but they aren't mary janes (I can't remember what they are called) and I wear them to school most days. They are super comfortable! That doesn't necessarily help Jordan though because I don't know how "hot" he would look in mary jane style crocs:rolleyes1 They might mess up his mojo....

I don't even know what mary janes are...

If this PTR is doomed to shoe talk for the time being, (I tried Jordan, I really did- with the Kouzzina talk) then I should mention that my Gretels are the toastiest, most comfortable jobbies I've gotten in a long time!! Love them. (They are Crocs- in case, you needed that.)

:surfweb: Duly noting this as Jordie's personal shopper.....I need the low down on every discount place I can find for Merrells, Keens, and Steve Madden shoes. ;)
I have about 10 questions for you Jordie....concerning shoes of course :upsidedow. I've carefully gone back over your PTR to see what types of clothes you wear, colors, style etc. so I can best pic a couple of pairs of shoes for you, but I have a few questions to finalize before picking out the pairs I have in mind.
I'll PM you when I have it all together....if that's OK. :)

I vote for Mary Janes for Jordan!!!:rotfl2:

Moving to American Eagle, I was able to go the sale rack and find 2 pairs of shorts. The sale also included an extra 30% off the clearance price. I also bought 2 pairs of chonies. Total 52 dollars.
