Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

I would like to think we are all perfectly normal and the rest who don't get are the crazy ones.:snooty:

We are "normal".;)

Betcha never thought you would have a use for a Code Brown. :rotfl2:

I had such a hard time typing that due to uncontrolled laughter. looking for any misplaced n's:rotfl:

I didn't, but unlike a solid log it was schmushed in his paws. I was gagging. It would've made for a good video.

Got it marked. It is during our busy time but maybe, just maybe I can make it work.

You can come for some of it...

After the 6th trip in 5 years, and doing various configuations, solo, with friends, with 1 child at a time, whole family, all those trips turned out a bit different due to different dynamics, I think I am FINALLY learning not to just go commando, even though I have to fight the urge with everything I have. I finally am starting to feel settled in, like for me, going to a familiar pool ( make sure I have that l), I know where everything is and how the traffic flow is etc.
Comfort food for the soul. That's the easy way to say it.

I've gone with several different group configurations as well. It's always fun trying to figure out dynamics....

Hi Jordan! I loved your last update! I totally get what you are saying about the DIS. I came here to pick up a few tip about going to WDW with a child with autism and have met all kinds of people from all over the country and made some really great friends.

I love that you are changing things up a bit this year. I can't wait to hear all about it. :goodvibes

I was reading on someone's PTR, I think it was you, how a quiet, dark place might be good for your child. I stopped and read it again. Then I read it again to let it sink in. I just thought WOW. I have so much respect for parents in general, but parents who have kids with varying needs. I just :worship::worship: You are AMAZING. To think God chose you with this special assignment! I just :worship:

Thanks for the update. I just had an argument with my DH about why he won't even try roller coasters (terrified on Space Mountain as a kid...well, almost a teenager, but who's counting??) and had been kind of wringing my hands about planning this trip down to every last second, despite my never wanting to be a park commando or anything. So, thanks for putting this back in perspective; this trip is about relaxing and enjoying my time with DH, not about whether or not I choose to wait in line for Space Mountain. And oh, yeah, people watching? Love it.

You're going to have a great time whether you get on a rollercoaster or not.:thumbsup2

Seriously, if you have ANY question, don't hesitate to ask.

I'm pretty new to your group - but I'm so glad I started reading trip reports. I started just to get ideas of what others did on their vacation - meeting friends was such a bonus!

I wouldn't consider you new anymore....:grouphug:

I can't wait to hear more about the PeepFest website... what do you plan to do with it??

Kathy

Derek's, Wendy's DH, latest "hobby" is designing websites. So we'll have him dream something up. However, I have a ton of friends from church turning 50 that year as well. So we'll probably have two areas of the website, one for DIS Peeps and one for church Peeps.

I plan on hosting 2 events at WDW and 1-2 on the DCL. So there will be info about what people are interested in.

That's all I got right now....

Change is good? Really? Okay, I'm taking your word for it Jenn.

I haven't met a Disney Resort that I didn't like.

That's what I tell myself after switching resorts 3 times :lmao:

I'm looking forward to your report about the AKL trifecta.

Even though I mostly lurk, and I am trying to change that, I feel like the Dis is a great bunch of people. I can come here when I am having a bad day and find something that makes me laugh. Anyways, thanks Jordan for all the great times in the past and the times to come.

Group hug!!!:grouphug:
I found the DIS after googling "wish trip" and "GKTW" to research Phoebe's trip. I found the Wish Trippers thread in the DISabilities board and thought I was in heaven. I was surprised to find myself making friends there, not just researching. Slowly I branched out to other threads thinking I was just trying to find more tips and pics for the trip but kept finding more friends as well. It's been really fun getting to know you, your family, and your DISfriends. Thanks!

You're welcome.

I don't mind lurkers. I used to do it for YEARS.

I still lurk on about 4-5 TRs....

I'm glad you found us!:thumbsup2

Nice to have more people from our side of the US....

I am really excited to hear about your Boma experience. I am going to eat there when we go. I would like to try Jiko too but I think I will save that for my next trip.

I've heard about 70/30 good to bad ratio on reviews for Boma. I'm excited to try it for myself.

I still can't believe you've never eaten at Boma yet, in all your trips to WDW. You're in for a treat! (Show up hungry!)
