I did do a test run to the Target Travel Aisle to see what items I fancied for this trip.....wet wipes were looked at. I had no idea there were different types...

Wipes are serious biz!! I think your now figuring this out. Stick with the non-baby one's, they flush better, no sense clogging up a toilet in WDW, there may actually be others who give ratings on the bathrooms, and you don't want to force someone to give a bad review all because you picked the wrong wipe!

OMGosh! The tears won't stop coming!!! I can't get over how funny these pictures have been. Thank you Tracy and Winkers!!

Chapter 74. WDW 2010, the year of change.

As I started going over my itinerary for the first time in a loooong time, I noticed that my vacation is going to be much different than in years past.

I thought about this tonight and really I have to thank all of you for opening me up to change. I've been exposed to things on DIS that I don't think I would ever have the opportunity to experience otherwise. I know what it's like to live in snow, sort of. I've seen Savannah; I've been to the Dells; I've travelled to Greece--all through other people's eyes. I feel like I've been to Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, Washington... I've seen the streets of NYC. I've gained understanding of what it's like to live in a blended family. I've gained appreciation of those who have children with disabilities. You all have changed who I am and how I view the world. I am a better person because of all of you.

I usually know what to expect from my WDW vacations, but with so much change, it's going to be so different this year. I have you all to thank for that.

I'm really looking forward to the idea of everyone doing the Peeps Fest in 2012! I just can't get over what a family this is and how everyone makes you feel you are apart of it when you come here. I love what you wrote about the dis boards, it's exactly how I feel. Without the trip reports I never would have learned the asian power sign, looked for peeps or taken pictures with my tongue hanging out.

Being here is better than therapy for me. I get to laugh..a lot, cry a little and learn about other places all rolled into one.

Thanks Jordan!! Yes - that's my Zach! When we went into the animation class he said, "It's so calm in here" - that sort of put it in perspective for me during our trip last year. Unfortunately it was on our last day. We'll be finding some more "calm" places throughout the whole week this time.

It took a while for me to think that I was "chosen" but now I feel like it's the best way to face the harder days. Thanks for seeing it that way too!

And thanks for sharing what you took away from my PTR! It means a lot to me!

It was truly a moment as I realized how much it takes to be a parent of a child with some special needs.

OK, I'm finally all caught up! Whew! I just read like 12 pages in a row! I love this "family away from family" time.

My mom told me a month ago that she was off from work tomorrow (MLK day) and we were going to go the outlets tomorrow. She totally blew me off and told me last night that she's working after all. It wouldn't be so bad except that this is the 3rd time she has made plans with me since December 1st and then had some excuse for not sticking to it at the last minute. She was supposed to come to a party with me last weekend and texted me as we were LEAVING the party at the end of the night to say "I guess I'm not coming." But let me point out that she just "decided" yesterday morning to drive up to Mass. to visit my sister....

My DIS family is so much more reliable!
