Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

I'm thinking I want Ashlyn's socks, they are so cute!! The print wouldn't be half bad too. ;)

Amazing that you even noticed that!! Ash has a whole set of those socks in all different colors. A Disney baby from the start! Never too early to brainwash!!! :thumbsup2

Love the pic of Erin with her American Girl dolls -- Chelsea has both Molly and Emily, but sadly, this was the first year that there weren't any American Girl things under the tree -- the casualties of becoming a teenager. (

Awww...enjoy Erin and her dolls because a day will come down the road when she doesn't want one for Christmas anymore...:sad1

Don't tell me that! I'm hoping for some longevity through college... ha ha. Met some girls who still like their AG's long past high school.... ha ha ha. Or at least if Erin outgrows it when Ashlyn grows into it... then it'll work for me.

Sadly this has been a topic at work more than once (thank goodness HR was never around). After a very unscientific poling, we have decided that men fold and women scrunch.

I must admit, I'm a scruncher.

I'm a scruncher, you're a scruncher, he's a scruncher, she's a scruncher, wouldn't you like to be a scruncher too?

Glad to hear your Uncle's other kidney is okay. I'll continue to pray for the chemo to work.

Love the shoes! They do look comfy. Good luck on finding good touring shoes. I really think this is making you a shopping pro!:thumbsup2

Thanks!

I wore the shoes to the movies tonight. They were soooo comfortable!

Great shoes, continued prayers for your uncle.

thanks and thanks...:)

Love the new shoes. They look great.

I'm very sorry about your Uncle. I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts.

I don't wear shoes that often any more. I wear flip flops 99% of the time. One of the guys I went with tonight even said, "Hey you're wearing shoes"

Well, at least this post is behind us now. It is behind us, right?

Okay, okay....nice shoes. :thumbsup2

Sorry, I had to.:confused3

At least you didn't come back with purple crocs. I have to give you a pass...after all I included the quest for the quacker wrappers on my PTR. Your new shoes are actually are pretty slick. We need to get you some boots though. They'd go well with the cargo shorts.

Boots! Cowboy boots? Yikes.......but I do love country music. Love it. Love, love, love. I'm a crazy country lovin Asian.

Jordan, so sorry to hear about your uncle.

Thanks Lessa!

I just fussed at my kids for making too many poop jokes earlier. So how do I explain that mommy is rolling on the floor because of the very same thing? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

"Do as I say, not as I do."
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ha ha ha ha.

UPDATE: just an update on my dad... first off, I can't multi-quote everyone but thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers for our family. As my dad says, you can never have enough people praying for you! Appreciate you all, even though most we have never even met! The blessings of being in the same "family".

Anyway - Dad is home and staying with us for a few days (while my mom babysits) and is doing well so far. He's behaving himself and drinking lots of fluids :thumbsup2 His chemo is scheduled for next week, Mon-Wed and then he's off for three weeks (puts him just about the time of our trip for the 2nd round). So hopefully the first round will be ok and not too taxing. Anyway, we'll take it from there after that.

Blessings that good friends have offered to help with childcare so we have next week pretty much covered so it should put minimal stress on my inlaws to take up the slack, as they have their own responsibilities with the kids anyway, so we don't want to overburden them either.

Thanks so much for your support and I'll keep you posted.

Just about a month to go!!!! Whooooo hooo! :cool1:

Sorry to hear your uncle needs chemo - but good news that it's not on the remaining kidney! I don't know what was in the universe in 2007, but it was a bad year for us too.

Love the shoes!

Thanks Joy.

I never want to go back to that year, but I'll tell you that I learned alot about faith that year.

Jordan...so more with the shoe talk...;) (you have been subjected to too much Vera talk haven't you...:rolleyes1)...they are really quite nice shoes:thumbsup2

Prayers and comfort for your uncle and your whole family for comfort.

I'm like the shoes a good blend of casual yet can be slightly dressy as well.

Thanks PPP...

I LOVE those! I'm jealous of your heavenly shoe reveal moment. I've been shopping online but too afraid of commitment without a test drive first. Going to try the stores again this week I hope.

I had seen these shoes online and didn't think I'd find them there, but there they were.

Oops, I forgot to add, many positive thoughts and prayers for your uncle. I swear I meant to put that before the shoes!

No worries. It's the thought that counts.

Thanks!

The shoes are pretty cool Jordy. I like, I like! I'm glad they ended up comfy for you, I did want to say that they will last you a long while if you wear them like you said you would. They just don't hold up under constant wear for comfort.....these should be perfect! :thumbsup2

It's pretty bad to admit to, but I think we all do that from time to time?

Ha ha ha ha.

Your most welcome Wendy, it's an honor to co-labor with the King like He askes us too, to make things happen for His children. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of it. :lovestruc

Can't wait for y'alls report when you get back!! And yes I love the socks on Ashlyn, just wish I knew of these when Mackenzie was little.

We'll see. I wore them tonight and they were super comfortable. I think they're park worthy.

Note to self...Must be funny to the nice people on the Disboards, <knocking ones self in the forhead> Must be funny! Not scary!!
:rotfl:

I have to admit the inspiration came from an episode on Oprah....The one where Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston were promoting the Bruce Almighty movie. In part they acted out this scene when early on an audience member asked if they could take a picture of him, if I remember right they had the audience members come and join in. :rotfl: It was probably the funniest show I had ever seen!!!
Of course the brilliant mind of Jim Carrey came up with this and orchestrated the whole thing, it was so dang funny I thought I would pee my self!

Just found it on Youtube! It's at about 4:20, so look for it. I wish it was a better recording, but you'll get the point. You gotta watch it people. So dang funny!!

Cherie~~~~ You're my heroine!!!

Needing wet wipes.

:confused3 I'm totally lost....What did she do?!?! :)

Sorry, I should have quoted her picture of the "accident". I've actually DONE that in a grocery store once. :scared1: I was pregnant, and sick, and oh, never mind. All I know is I couldn't get home fast enough!

I was wondering the other night if I could convince Chelsea to take one of her AG dolls to the Grand Flo this summer, but I think she would just give me a "look." :lmao:

:rotfl: That was too funny!! I can't believe someone took a picture of that poor man's unfortunate accident. I'm thinking he must have thought he was over his scooty's (sounds much nicer than the alternatives, at least this is what my son was told when he was little and would blurt it out infront of anyone) and must have coughed or laughed to hard with confidence. :lmao: Amatuer move. :rotfl:

Jordan, I am sorry about your uncle. I will be praying for him and for your family during this very testing time. On another note though, I love the shoes. They are very cool:thumbsup2

My family calls them "sharts". I'll leave it to you to decipher....
