Grey Goose Slushie :yay::yay::yay:!!!!!! If you can't tell, I love those!!

Your pictures always make me smile. Thanks for bumping up the PTR, I had been busy and didn't even think about it. I have updated so if you get bored go take a look :thumbsup2.

Camp Minnie, eh?? I was actually thinking of going there this time around, just to check it out. To me, it just sorta seems like Toontown, sorta there, sorta not on my radar kinda place. Now, thanks to you, I have a good one-flusher reason to scope it out.

Peewee Golf??? I didn't mean I'd never done it, just not at WDW. As a kid our family actually OWNED at mini-golf course/arcade. So, I played a round practically everyday for about a year or so. I got to be pretty good at the ancient of all video games Tempest too.

There's one other truly legit reason to hike over to Camp MinnieMickey - it's the home of The Festival of the Lion King, a truly wonderful show that you should totally see if you never have!

Definitely going to see that in Sept!! I can't wait! I didn't realize it was over there; HA! now I know!

I would also give up the Water Park option, save some money and give yourself an extra day to do "whatever." As far as massages, I would say Grand Floridian. I've had great massages there and then go to (my favorite) Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch. You could always have a bath/soak before your massage. Leaves your skin feeling really soft and moisturized and your muscles nice and relaxed for a good massage.

Anyway we can play along with the scavenger hunt?? Maybe we can be with you "virtually." Post pictures and/or name and/or places and/or things that you have to go and get pics of. I don't know. Just thinking.

I can't beleive how quick it's coming. Yay for you!

I'll have to see about the massage. Having appts/ADRs and the like, might make the vacation feel too structured. So we'll see....

I'm having some thoughts about the photo Scavenger hunt....I think I have a great idea.

I'll be waiting anxiously by the mailbox for my "prize" to arrive. :woohoo:

You'll be waiting for a while.;):flower3:

So YOU were the one that started this :lmao::rotfl::lmao:

I have been reading this in many different places....wow!! The influence you have

I'm surprised many haven't been arrested because of you ;)

I kept telling Matt when he goes to HD to steal me some b/c they were getting rid of them......I will retract that statement

:rotfl2: That is just toooooooo funny!!!!! :rotfl2:
\

I know. I feel embarrassed that I didn't notice that they always had those other paint samples. I was in a panic when the HD I went to was out of many of the Mickey Head. I just assumed they were phasing them out....

Jordy also told me to take all of my money out of the bank and put it in my mattress, so I did that this afternoon after my Home Depot run.

next he's going to tell us to move to an island and drink some special kool-aid..;)

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

ok, with DQ that makes sense, its saves money in that sit.

If you do get a massage, request the person I had, she was brutal. And I mean that in the nicest way! She's got a little bit of a following on the spa thread... I actually felt like it was worth the money. Unlike my pedicure at the GF...

She works out of AKL and where else did you say? WL?

I'll be over sometime today. I'm also very busy.

Tempest:love::love::love: They have it at DisneyQuest along with PacMan, Joust, Centipede, Galaga, Asteroids....I could spend hours there.

Yeah, I had never been to that part of Camp Minnie/Mickey before. Having not been to FOTLK in years, I didn't know they had these Character pavilions where you could take pix of the big 5 with their safari gear on. In the back corner are these restrooms. I don't know if people even know it's there. People leaving the FOTLK show MIGHT see it, but the exit flow directs people away from the restrooms. So really the only people that use it are those taking pix at the Character pavilion or people immediately following the show.

I haven't been since they enclosed it so it's Air Conditioned now. So maybe since 2003.

Yeah and if the pictures of the buttons somehow made it to our Sr Pastor....OY!

We'll see........I like the idea of some sort of T-shirt.

Me too !!!:thumbsup2

Ooh I like the T-shirt idea too!! Hmmmm..........

As for your 10 day tickets and 12 days, I like the idea of the give a day/get a day....if you can get it done and recieve your ticket by Feb!! I also think you've got a good idea with doing one of the non park days on your resort switch day. :thumbsup2

I have like 3 updates in my mind that will require all DISers to participate. I'm gonna space it out over the next 6-7 weeks (can you believe it). first one coming out in a few minutes.

Ack! 20 pages behind again and the contest is over....but congrats to GB! :thumbsup2

Stating the obvious

:rotfl2: Great pic.

As far as what to do your other 2 days, sleep. Read a book. Explore a resort. Dueling Pianos. Ride every mode of Disney Transportation in one day. DTD. A movie.

Shopping.

Winner!!!!!

The restroom is in Camp Minnie/Mickey--on a hot day, the coolest, newest, quietest, cleanest restroom I've been to at WDW so far. I wish they had a cot. I would've taken a nap..:rolleyes1

I have to agree! I spent um...quite some time in that bathroom (as did DH) in November 2008. I very much remember staring at the floor in my *cough* great discomfort and being amazed at how clean it was. Very nice. The flushers are loud enough to cover up certain unpleasantness when Lion King empties out too....:rolleyes1

Oh, that day wasn't the best Disney day ever...

The boards went down as I was trying to post this earlier, now I'm back- and I have a feeling I'm a number of pages behind again....;)

Chapter 62. Photo themes.

Leaving for a movie in a few minutes. Taking the camera......Wearing shorts and a sweatshirt. It was 82 degrees today!!!!! I'm so over SoCal sometimes. Where's winter!!!! It's gonna be mid-70s next week!

As you know, I am a photo theme taker. While I take normal posed pictures, I also tend to gravitate towards certain themes when taking pictures.
They are as follows:

Peeps Pics I think this started a long, long time ago, but not in a galaxy far away. Wendy may correct me, but I think I started posing among the Peeps during our very first trip to WDW in 1991. She may have pix. If not 1991, it was no later than 1994.....

Restroom pictures and ratings I did this more to inform the DIS of my thoughts on particular restrooms. Now it's kinda taken on a life of its' own:

My favorite bathroom, Imagination Pavilion:
wdwfeb2008691.jpg

The worst rating of the trip. A quadruple flush for the restrooms on the right as your exiting Epcot. Woulda gotten a quintuple, but it didn't smell in there.
wdwfeb2008086.jpg

Tongue Pictures I think I mentioned that this was actually started by Derek on one of our WDW trips he did the tongue pic and the rest is history.

Sleeping pix This used to be more about me taking pix of others sleeping, but recently, it seems I've been caught sleeping more and more often.

wdwfeb2008588.jpg

For this upcoming trip, I'm sure we'll take these traditional themed pictures as well as some traditional pictures (in front of the Chinese Laundry, in front of Mission Space). However, I'd like some new photo themes and I'm turning to the resident nuts of the DIS to come up with some fun and original photo themes. Please keep them clean and things I can actually do at WDW w/o getting arrested. I'm game for pushing the envelope---within limits. I need to think that people from my church may also see them......

Okay, let the suggestions commence
