I'm helping a friend with her door decor for a MerryTime cruise... I need to know if the peephole is under the stateroom number or somewhere else? They have two staterooms on the Disney Dream - I've found a photo of one of their rooms but can't find images of an inside stateroom. Is it safe to assume all doors on the 8th deck will have the same doors (and then in this case, YES to peephole under the stateroom number!!) Thanks Cruisers!!!

This was our inside room door on the Dream:

FYI - the Magic and the Wonder have the peephole to the side of the door. That's probably why you found conflicting information.

This is fascinating to me!! Like the peephole blends more on the inset panel was the intention?

In any case, I never, ever would have considered this had it not been for the fact there were two versions of the art I’m using- a wreath to wrap around the stateroom number plaque. One version had a big hole! Voila! Thank you to some smart people out there for figuring these things out along the way!!!! So thankful for these boards!!

The peepholes on the classic ships was added later. It was probably simpler to drill through the inset area as it was thinner than going through the main part of the door.

If you notice, it's located in a spot that would have had the "rivet" head.
