I've seen this on the menue at several of the buffets and was wondering. Are they steamed and then cold, or steamed and hot, or cooked differently. We like ours steamed and hot. Anyone know where to get hot steamed shrimp at disney. I don't really like them cooked on a grill or anything.

Cape May Buffet has hot shrimp. They are in hot water, I believe it is spiced a little . They also have mahogany clams and mussels. A great buffet. We eat there at least once every time were there.

Loved it at Cape May, going back in MAy.

O'Hana has the best peel and eat shrimp! They are served hot with salad on the side.

The shrimp at Ohana's says spicy sweet and sour shrimp on the menue. Does it have some kind of sauce on it that is different. My dd likes the shrimp in a season like old bay with coctail sauce, I don't know how she would feel about it being in a sweet and sour sauce. It makes me think of chinese food is that what they have on them???? We did Ohanas during the fireworks in 04 and loved the atmosphere but the kids didn't like the food, maybe we can go back now that they serve shrimp. Where is the cape may buffet?

Cape May Cafe Clambake is held nightly at the Beach Club resort. It is an all-you can-eat buffet. There are seafood as well as non-seafood items and a carving station, pastas, salads, kids buffet (although the kids can eat from the adult side too). You can also get a bucket of crab legs for an additional charge-maybe $11-12, I'm not sure. The shrimp are warm and have an old-bay type seasoning on them, although they are fairly small. The clams are really good too. It has been one of our families "must-dos" since the first time we stayed at the BC resort. We love it. Oh, you can also get pitchers of beer and the kids can color on the paper "tablecloths." It's a lot of fun!

Just got back for WDW and had shrimp at both Ohanas and Cape May. I liked them both! Cape May had more of the bay spice on it than Ohanas. If you like more than one serving of the peel'n eat shrimp from Ohanas, ask for it ahead of time. They serve family style and it took a while for the waitress to get seconds! --Had great terriyaki chicken wings too!
