Has anyone noticed the menu change? I just visited there and am not a fan of the new menu. Just wondering if anyone else has any thoughts on it?

We ate there in October right after it changed. Although it is different than before, I won't say it was bad.

We had the 2 beef and rice bowls and 2 beef burritos for 2 adults, 2 tweens and a toddler. The beef bowls were small but after filling it at the topping bars they were huge. And the same goes for the burritos. We really could have used 1 rice bowl and 1 burrito for all of us.

But, it for sure was a change to what used to be on the menu.

I liked it a few weeks ago. They did recently add a burger from what I hear.

DH was stubbornly refusing to try it, until he saw the Southwestern Burger and then all was forgiven.

We really liked it, especially with the fixin's bar that includes guacamole!

I was really made when they changed the menu. I have never been a fan of Chipotle or those type of places. On my trip in December I had lunch there, got the fajitas and they were really good! The fixins bar was good and the meal was really filling, I was truly surprised

It was discussed here at length when the change occurred. Most didn't like the change but many were excited by something new in the MK

Always happy to have another, different choice. I think there are enough CS places in the MK that offer the basic burger/chicken finger/etc options.

When did the change occur? We were there in Feb. Didn't it use to have burgers etc. It was our normal go to quick service while in the park. I did notice the food was different on menu and wondered if I was thinking of wrong place.

It changed after the refurb in the fall. Octoberish? We liked it, but we enjoy "Mexican" food. (Quotation marks to indicate I know it isn't authentic.)

I'm delighted by the change! I've eaten there twice now, and loved it both times. Unlimited guacamole: what's not to love?? I'm always pleased to have a non-burger, non-fries option. This felt more like "real food" to me, for a pretty good price, and I appreciated it. YUM!!!

We thought it was pretty good too. Like an inferior and more expensive version of chipotle. (albeit without the food poisoning outbreaks).

It blows lol. I really loved the rice bowl. No use for a "southwestern" burger.

Changed in October, went in next week and watched some food come out. Not wowed. Got my Country Bear Jug and left (after I took pictures of fixins bar. DS went on his own and after seeing the food with the prices passed on it as well.

Now that they just added a burger, I could see myself going for the burger with the new fixins bar.

Burger yes, but no fries.

I'm okay with that with the fixins bar. Could make a nice side and use the tortilla chips with it.

BUT in reality I know what will happen for my lunch.

A much better TS Burger and fries at Liberty Tree or Plaza for $16.00 minus my TiW = $12.80.

Instead of a QS Burger with tortilla chips at Pecos Bill for $13.49.

I do think the entrées (beyond the new burger) should come with chips. It's just odd that they don't, since salsa is so easily available.

are you going to refuse to pay the 18% tip? or are you just trying to make it look like it's cheaper when it isn't?

WOW ... no I didn't say I wouldn't pay tip, as a matter of fact with TiW the tip is automatically added in. My tip I pay is for the pleasure of sitting in a nicer restaurant, having someone take my custom order, go place my order, carry my order to me, bring me drinks, refill my drinks etc. I don't consider that it has anything at all to do with the food.

So I am comparing burgers to burgers and a quick service burger is no way as good as a table service burger, plus it includes some toppings not on a fixin bar (like bacon) and it includes french fries, usually on a nicer bun and all served on a nice platter. So burger to burger, paying less for the TS burger that to me is so much better than a counter service is a really good deal and cheaper. It didn't used to be that way but QS prices have been soaring. And unless I hit one of the few QS that have beverage stations, I get all the refills I want of my drink.

What's the methodolgy for determining how much of the cost of a meal is for the food vs. all the other stuff you mention? Certainly, it's not magically the tip amount that is for all the other stuff, lol.
