We went March of 2021 and the bar was closed ( might be open now). But I will warn you it was awful. As in my kids and in-laws couldn't eat it. We ended up ordering a second dinner at our hotel that night. Nothing had any flavor. from the meat, to the rice to beans was all very mushy. Hopefully it has improved and it was just a bad day. We ate it in '17 and it was great.

Ever since Pecos Bill changed its menu a few years ago, we don't go there any more. Used to be a QS I liked at MK, but after that menu change (which also affected the fixins bar, pre Covid) it hasn't been the same.

The nachos are still good, but you have to buy guacamole. I can't remember if sour cream was free or pay. But not fixins bar for a long time now, before covid even.

Pecos used to be one of my favorites. When they changed to the Mexican food menu they ruined it. I tried it a couple of times but the last time I ate there couldn't finish anything on my plate it was that tasteless & awful to me. I got the platter with the three different tacos and could barely eat any of them. Chicken had no flavor, pork was a watery gloppy inedible mess, only the beef was barely palatable. It's nice they put the burgers back on the menu but but the rest of the food there is just bad.

I had the pork carnitas there pre-covid (fall 2019) and it was good (well, good for MK QS which is generally mediocre). We ate there on a recent trip and it had no flavor at all.

It's a shame how much worse the new menu is at Peco Bill's. It used to be my favorite quick service in a park that objectively has the worst food options. I went there in February and not only did I wait 1 hour 10 minutes for my food to be ready (with mobile ordering) but the food was just...not good. I miss the fixings bar a lot, but I don't think Disney will ever bring it back because a lot of the time I saw people grab stuff from there without even ordering anything from the restaurant.
