Pearson and timing?

Between 4:30 and 5 p.m. is my recommendation. No later because you have to clear customs and do security and shop at tax and duty free!

Better to be waiting at the gate then rush and worry!

Thanks! I was aiming for 4:30pm and having a bite to eat in the airport. We usually go so early and have to wait around, but our flights have always been in the morning ~ not at night. Thanks! Sandra

Don't forget to take the traffic into consideration too! 3-4 PM is the start of rush hour

Ah! Lucky I occasionally have to drive my parent to Pearson for a 7 or 8 PM flight and hate dealing with the traffic. I go east to west which isn't too bad sometimes... but after dropping them off, the trip back is usually much worse.

I flew 2 weeks ago on from Pearson. I would plan to be at the airport 3 hours before. Most of the carriers only have one line for all the flights they are checking in---so you could be standing in a long line. We waited 25 minutes, as they were checking in 6 flights. Also, the security line was not long but it was slow.

You are far better off to be early than late.
