I am coming to WDW from Australia in nov. I am a huge peanut butter fan and would love to try the peanut butter in america. I am wondering if you can buy a slice of bread anywhere and a small jar or package of peanut butter to have for breakfast? I am not a big breakfast eater and this would be a perfect snack. :earsgirl:

i don't know about any other resorts bu i know you can buy a loaf of bread and i think i remember pb at the stores in Fort Wilderness as they stock "grocery type " supplies such as those. you could keep it in your room , no refrigeration needed.

also it is pretty much a staple for the "under 12" set so i think most food courts "to go" places ( ie at pop century) would have ready made pb with jelly sandwiches.

we have pj toast all the time for breakfast also.yum

In some of the kids meals I know in MK they have the uncrustables peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and they are really good. I think they may sell them in the food courts as well. We asked several places could we just a peanut butter sandwich and they only had the premade ones. you should try one.

The shops in the resorts usually sell things like this-bread, peanut butter, crackers, cookies, beer, etc.

You should be able to get it there or individual servings at the food courts. The food courts also have toasters you can use.

If you're able to, go for the natural peanut butter - with no stabilizers or corn syrup, and the oil sits on the top. Regular peanut butter tastes disgusting to me because I've been eating the natural stuff for so long, it's very very good.

I'm a huge fan of Peanut Butter & Company's peanut butter. They have a smooth and a chunky, as well as some different flavored peanut butters -- cinnamon raisin, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and a spicy red pepper variety (fantastic on celery!). They have a little restaurant/storefront in Greenwich Village but also sell the pb via supermarkets or their website -- www.ilovepeanutbutter.com .
I look forward to seeing them again at the Boston Veg Foodfest this year!

(I know it's heresy to say this, but PB&Co's "Death By Peanut Butter" ice cream sundae kicks "No Way Jose's" peanut butt!)

I LOVE that stuff! I've had the dark chocolate and the cinnamon raisin, they're fantastic on whole wheat toast for breakfast or anytime :)

I've been trying to find a reason to buy the savory varieties, the celery idea sounds like a good one.

:mickeybar If you are a peanut butter fan make sure to get a peanut butter and jelly shake from the 50's Prime Time Cafe in MGM. They are really, really good. If you are not eating there just go to the bar area and get one to go. We took ours to the Indiana show, YUMMY!!!!!!!
