Peanut and Seafood Allergy. Please share your story/experience/any tips?

I grew into my allergies. I'm allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, some shell fish, and a bunch of other things. I carry an epi pen and benadryl. Sometimes benadryl is enough to stop the reaction. Sometimes I need the epi pen. One word of advice is to familairize yourself with it's use. So that you won't misuse it in an emergency. I thought I knew how my epi pen worked. Instead I ended up with an epi pen lodged in my thumb bone. And a trip to the emergency room by ambulance because I was at work. Very embarassing.
