I just wanted to warn those with peanut allergies that my dd had an allergic reaction in Pinocchio Haus (sp?), the counter service restaurant that overlooks It's a Small World (IASW) ride in MK. The only reason my dd had a reaction was that she touched the windows overlooking the IASW. I did not think to wipe the window down and, in retrospect, I remember seeing a whole bunch of fingerprints. Well, they serve peanut butter and jelly sandwiches there and kids who ate them must have touched the window. My dd touched the window as well and touched her eye which blew up. Luckily, benadryl was all we needed (no epi pen) but, needless to say, a scary experience (since you never know how bad each reaction is going to get). The chefs at all the TS dining experiences were wonderful and I think Disney does a wonderful job trying to accomodate those with food allergies, but I just wanted to warn those w/ life threatening peanut allergies not to eat (or at least not touch) the windows in this restaurant. I hate to put anything negative out there but I would hate even more for someone else to experience the fear we did that night! If anybody else has had a similar experience, please let me know since we will be returning in 3 weeks and I'd like to know which restaurants to avoid. Having said all that, DW is still the happiest place on earth!
