We are planning on doing Fantasmic during our trip (March 28-April 1 - Sat/Wed).

I read that Fantasmic is only on weekends, except during peak season, when it is available daily. Would this be considered "peak"??

Right now, I am planning on doing Fantasmic on Monday, IF our travel time qualifies as peak.

But if we are not going during "peak" time, I will need to tinker a bit with our plans to do it on Sunday (and move our Magic Morning day to Tuesday and Goofy's Kitchen to Monday).

Thanks!

Since that is primo Spring Break time, I am pretty sure Fantasmic will be shown daily at 9:00 and 10:30.

That is what I thought too. I just wanted to make sure someone agreed with me, LOL.

For Fantasmic, I call 1-714-781-4400, right? How far in advance?

And Goofy's Kitchen I call 1-714-781-3463, right? How far in advance?

Thanks!!

Yes, you have the right numbers.

Goofys Kitchen is 60 days in advance and Fantasmic 30 days.

Here is the entertainment schedule from this past March and April. It looks like Fantasmic! wasn't offered on weekdays from March 31 (a Monday) through the first 10 days of April. It's on the schedule on the weekend before March 31st and then weekdays after April 11th. I'm not sure why it's this way but I thought you might want to know ....just in case. :)

Thank you everyone!

It sounds like I may need to tinker with our plans - just in case. I would hate to get too excited about certain things on certain days, only to have them not available. And I don't want to miss Fantasmic!!!

I had forgotten how far in advance to call, so thanks for that too!

:)

But remember, Easter changes yearly, so that would affect the schedule. Since spring breaks are usually around Easter, (last year it was on March 23rd... this year it is April 12th) I would think that you would probably be ok. It might be a good idea to make plans either way. Once you get closer, and they release the entertainment schedules for March/April of 2009, you can make decisions then. I believe they post those 3 months out.

HTH!

I've heard Fantasmic will be down for months around that period of time. I'm hoping what I heard was wrong--but I'm pretty sure it was Al Lutz. From what I know it's going down for awhile to work on projection stuff, up every day in January and February,(due to a parade being down) then back down in March I think for a few months. We're going to be there March 21-27 and I love Fantasmic. I really hope I am proven wrong.
