Peacock Suites????

Hi, is there anyone who has stayed at the peacock suites? and do you have any pictures of the rooms there? I'm going in july and was wondering how far a walk is it to gardenwalk, or disneyland, or downtown disney for that matter. I don't want to pay for the ART shuttle(don't like to be crowded anyways), but i also dont want to walk too much....i'd rather have a taxi pick us up and take us to downtown disney but have heard that the taxis won't even come to this hotel because it's so close?????Is this true,,,,anyone!!!!,

Hmm dunno about the taxi's but I was considering the Peacock Suites myself for our July stay. They offer good discounted rates for AAA members also. I do hear really good things about the hotel, but they have mandatory valet service for $8 a day. One perk is that they have DVD players in the suites and if you are taking kids they have special entertainment during the evenings. My friend stayed there and said during their stay they had one night where they made rootbeer floats, then one night it was bar-b-q. Hope you enjoy!

My DH and I stayed there this past Feb. We found the walk to the Garden Walk about 5-10 minutes (you can cut through the Residence Inn if you want). It took the 2 of us about 15 minutes to get to Disneyland's Maingate. We didn't have our boys with us so we didn't have them holding us up. We did take the ART a couple of times. It wasn't busy but it was off season. The hotel was nice the only down side we found was that the pool was covered and you couldn't enjoy the sun by the pool.
