Peacock Suites Resorts??

Hi,

Someone I know offered me 7 nights of their timeshare at the Peacock Suites in a 3 bedroom for $1000.

Is this a good deal? I have never been to WDL, we got to WDW every year and thought maybe we would try Ca.

Any thoughts? There are 2 adults and my kids (19-7-5). Now that my teen is 19 she is back to wanting to go on family vacations as she sees a FREE trip LOL.

I don't know when your dates are but I checked Expedia for 7 nights at Peacock Suites June 5-12 and the unit that sleeps six is $90.00. I don't know if they have a bigger unit. But your cost is $142 per night and that seems high. You can get better deals at suite hotels closer to Disneyland. The Desrt Inn and Suites and The Dert palm Inn and Suites and check Portofino Inn and Suites though they can be high sometimes. If you are going during a holiday period that may explain the higher cost.

The dates are the week of Novebmer 28th which explains the higher cost. The room is also the 3 bedroom.

Thefirst link is a map of the hotels around Disneyland. Peacock Suites is in the lower right hand area. The second link is an arial shot and you can't see the Peacock but it would be a block and a half to two bloack below the Holiday In Express at the bottom of the picture. It would probably be a 15-20 minute walk to the park entrances. I am sure there is a shuttle available though. It is a pretty building but is kind of off on its own. According to Mapquest it is one mile from Disneyland/

For Holiday dates....and 3 bedrooms, i would think that was a great price.

That is a very good deal. i have stayed at peacock suites and its like a room of royalety. Try to get the suite, it includes 2 rooms the entrance room includes 2 TV's and 2 queenbeds. you go through a door to the secound room containing a couch sleeper(fold out bed) fridge ,microwave and of course a tv, also a usually good view with sitting table and chairs.
