The Peabody VS. the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Int'l Drive(the newer one)
Which do you like better and why?? Which is closer to restaurants, Universal, and Seaworld?
Thanks in-advance

We stayed in a one bedroom suite at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club last weekend. It was a large, spacious suite with the biggest jacuzzi bathtub I've ever seen. The staff was very pleasant, and we enjoyed the pool bar one evening. Our friend played bingo one afternoon and won some nice bottles of wine. The kids loved the pool and basketball court.

We only went to WDW parks and they seemed very convenient. We also only had meals either in the room or in the parks.

We haven't stayed in the other hotel you mentioned, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the HGVC.

Haven't stayed in the Hilton, but I can highly recommend the PEABODY hotel! We've stayed here many times *(on club/concierge level), and thoroughly enjoyed rvery aspect of this property. It's a five-star hotel, with amazing amenities. It's well known for the twice-daily "DUCK-MARCH" event, where the PEABODY ducks exit their roof-top condo, duck-into the elevator...ride to the lobby, where they make their GRAND ENTRANCE and march down the red-carpet to the center lobby fountain. Here they remain *(11:00 am to 5:00 pm), where they then reverse the march. It's something to see, lots of fun. Even the luxurious soaps in the bathroom are Duck-shaped! Turn-down service is wonderful, with delicious double-wrapped melt-away chocolates and a card with a Shakespearian quote promising a restful slumber. This resort is fabulous. ;)

the peabody is closer to the convention center - across the street. it is also closer to US/IOA.

HGVC is closer to SW and WDW.

since the peabody is located in a business area - you can probably find eating places close by.

hgvc has a Publix (grocery store) across the street and some eating places there - it also I think has a MacDonalds across the street. the Dolly Parton show is also in this area.

Both of these are not close enough to any theme parks to walk too. You need to rent a car. You can use the I-trolley if you don't mind public transportation.

here is it schedule.

US/IOA use to participate in the I trolley - but it is not on the current schedule - so you need a car.
