Has anyone ever seen them and their walk to and from the fountain? Is it fun? What times? Is there a cost to park your car? :cheer2: :cheer2:

We have been there New Year's Eve and it was so crowded that it wasn't fun. It took half an hour to get an elevator back to our room. Its at 10 or 11 am then 5 pm. I've seen it at off times when it was comical. They have free self parking.

I have--in fact a few times! It has been a while though...

They march twice at day--I believe at 11 am and 5pm. There's a lot of pomp and circumstance.

As far as the car parkign, not that I recall, but it has been awhile.

We've got a reservation for Mothers Day brunch, so if you catch me after I cna let you know... There's a slight possibility we won't go though, because a friend might come stay for the weekend. She's a zookeeper, and we might take advantage of her knowledge and visit AK for a very unique perspective instead.

When we went two weeks ago, there wasn't a fee for parking. This is something my grandma always has us do when we are in Florida together. Before the morning procession or after the evening retreat you can go up to the 4th floor and see the ducks in their "duck palace". The hotel gift shop sells lots of ducks merchandise and the legend of the Peabody Ducks is printed on everything, even the cocktail napkins at the bar...makes for a cheap souvie! :teeth:
