PE with VA

We are thinking of going PE for our next trip. I understand that they have recently introduced a fee to reserve seats together.....does this apply to PE as well? How many PE seats are there on each flight, there are seven of us flying and wonder what are the chances of sitting together....we don't know the seat configuration. Are they in sets of two?

Check out seat guru for the configurations, depends which route you're flying as the VA planes differ slightly. There is no charge to select seats if you are in PE or UC

Generally PE is 2 + 2 up in the bubble and 2 + 4 + 2 in the main downstairs PE cabin

There's no charge for assigning seats in PE

The configuration on a 747-400 (Man/Lon and maybe other routes?) is 2-4-2 downstairs, so if you book your seats when the window opens I'm sure you will get a row - or two rows spread across 3&4
