Turns out I didn't have an interview. Filled out their application on the computer, when I finished the receptionist told me that the interviewer had to go into a meeting and she would review my application and call me later. I wasn't a happy camper when I left. I definitely don't like having my time wasted. She had already seen my resume and had spoken to me about my qualifications. I just don't understand some companies. Sent my resume to one company. After playing telephone tag I finally was able to speak to the HR person. The only question he asked was what had I been doing since I was laid off. It seems the vice-president of finance wanted to know what I had been doing since May. I was flabbergasted by that question. No wonder they haven't been able to fill the position for about 2 months now. So the hunt for a job is still on.

Sorry to hear it went the way it did. That does stink that you had to go through all that for "nothing" I hope something good comes up for you soon
