My family and I will be going to Universal for first time in August. I can't decide between the PBH or the HRH. Which would my boys, 8 & 6, enjoy more.

Thanks.

My kids like all 3 but their favorite is HRH. It's "cool" and the pool is great fun fir kids.

We have only stayed at HRH, so I can't really compare. However, our family loved HRH! Our kids are 7 & 11 and loved the pool. Also my parents are in their 70's and they liked the hotel just as much. The FOTL access was awesome at the parks, and the location is an easy walk. We had a great time there.

That's great news. My kids are the same ages & we just switched from RPR to HRH. The kids don't know we've switched & I'm not going to tell them - it will be a complete surprise when we drive up to HRH.

i have stayed at RPR and HRH not PBH yet. i was asking myself and the boards this same question before our last trip and i am so glad that i listened to the boards on that one. my nephew is 14 and though i really wanted to try PBH, the boards kept telling me that he would enjoy HRH more. and he did!! he didn't like the quiet over at PBH and he didn't like the distance to the park and since i could never get him to wait for the water taxi, the HRH turned out to be better. though we did go to PBH for a swim one day and he loved the pool but said that he would not like to stay there.

HAVE FUN!

We have been to all three resorts and my children's favorite (and ours) is by far the HRH.

I was not overly impressed with the PBH. Don't get me wrong, it was nice...but overall, we all enjoyed the atmosphere of the HRH the best.

The pool is absolutely FAB! It was also easier to get to the parks (should I say faster, actually...) as well as around the resort itself. We found the PBH very confusing.

We all agreed that next time we go back it is HRH for us again.

BTW our kids are 5,7 and 9 if that helps!

Having just returned from PBH (and having been to the other hotels previously), I'd go with HRH also. Not only is the pool area fabulous (PBH is very, very nice also), but PBH is a big complex. Everything is so spread out and depending on where your room is located, it can be quite a hike from parking garage, to water taxi to pool area. HRH is much more "compact." PBH is also a good walk to the parks (if you are too impatient for the water taxis), whereas, HRH is centered in between both IOA and USF.

I've only stayed at HRH so I can't compare. However...our stay at HRH was WONDERFUL! The service is outstanding! *Everyone* we ran across, welcomed us with a smile. We had a great stay! Our boys (16,9 and the baby) had a great time...though the baby would've had a great time anywhere. lol

Hope you have fun wherever you stay and "take is easy!" ;)

We stayed at the PBH, Our children were 12, 12, 8 and 7. Three boys and 1 girl. We are going back in Sept. and my older ones said they love the PBH more than any other hotel they've ever stayed in. They like the LUXERIOUS beds....and they loved the pool. We also swam at the HRH pool. So we went back and forth. I was going to try something different next time, but the kids want the PBH. I also have to say I loved the comfort of the PBH also
