Does anyone know where in the hotel the garden view 2 Queen Portofino Parlor Suite rooms are located? Are they in both wings?

We just paid a small fortune for 2 days in July and are trying to plan well! We are gold You First members and are wondering if there are any upgrades?

No upgrades if you booked a suite. The only upgrades would occur if you booked a standard room garden view.

You could be pretty much anywhere.

Thanks, Damo! I remember you helping me a few years ago!! Thank you!!!

We have six in our party and I couldn't figure out another way to book that would be cheaper and accommodate us. It is a last minute trip BUT very welcomed.

I have to research buying 3 day tickets next. :)

You could request a pool-view also.

Actually I think they all have either a pool-view (beach pool) or a bayview. There are 12 of them.

Is it not cheaper to book 2 connecting rooms at RPR? Or are you wanting a larger connecting space? Have fun on your trip! I'm counting down the days!!!

That's what I thought! But, no! It was cheaper to do the suite. We have the one-br suite so the sofa bed will be used!

Can't wait!

We've stayed in pool view and bay view in villa wing. I think we also stayed in one in the villa wing but I can't quite recall if it was a portofino suite or just a normal room. The portofino suites are great because they provide an extra bathroom with another shower. The pullouts are not the most comfortable. You can call star services to bring you some extra blankets to use as padding.

They allow 6 in a parlor suite with one bedroom? I didnt know that! :thumbsup2

The extra bathroom seems to make a difference these days. A few people have reported being able to have 6 in the portofino suite. However, still only seems to be 3 allowed in the King suites at RPH.

Do you think I should I request to be in the West Wing? The proximity to the boat launch is probably the most important thing for our short visit.

we had reserved club room when we were gold level and both years we got upgraded to portofino suite with a bay view. it was right by boat dock and it was fabulous:cool1:

that's because they only have one king bed in the bedroom and a sleeper couch in the second/front room.

sleeping for 3 only.

one bathroom in the suite.
