Is there anything we need to consider when making a Garden View room request at the PBH? We are an active 36 37 and 16 yrs.
Thanks in advance. All suggestions greatly appreciated. :sunny:

Request the west wing which will likely get you a view of the beach pool.

The top floor in the west wing is 5 I think. This wing is closer to the water taxi too.

Thanks for that. Presumably none of the garden view rooms have a balcony, so it all I need to ask for is an upper level west wing. :thumbsup2

We have never had to stay in a garden room but I think the ones in the west wing are like RPR and if you stay on floors 3 and below the view is blocked by trees. You might request a room close to the elevators. I think there are a few balconies on the garden side on the top floor. There are less than 10% balcony rooms in the hotel so its likely you won't get that request. You have joined Loews 1st?

Good advice. We stayed at the PBH with our lab in June and got an East Wing room with a view of the walking path. It was good, no problems.
Last weekend we stayed again for HHN and this time we got a West Wing room which had a view of the pool. We were on the 3rd floor, the view was partially blocked by trees, but we could still see everything.
The view didn't really matter to me, but being close to the pool and boat dock was a big perk. You definately want to ask for a West Wing room before you check in. I'd call the hotel and request it now, because they assign the rooms before you arrive. Our room was 3334, and it was close to the elevator. So if you ask for 3434, you'd get the 4th floor above where we stayed. The 1st number is the tower, the 2nd number is the floor, and the last two digits are the room number. You just have to make sure the 4th floor is non smoking. Otherwise ask for 3534.

Yes, I'm a Loews First member. Staying 6 nights in all at Universal. I believe if we were staying for 7, we could have had some kind of upgrade on the final night. Guess it will keep until the next time we come over to the States.. Good advice all round. :thumbsup2 Thanks v much. :sunny:
