Anyone ever rented a Cabana at PBH? We will be there June 20 - June 22. I thought it might be nice to rent one on the day we check out. We have a fairly large party - 8 adults, two infants and a two year old. In your opinion....

1 - is it better to rent at the villa pool or the beach pool?
2 - should i rent two cabanas?
3 - why would you rent one again? Are there any perks?

My thoughts were - since we are on club level, if we have a cabana, maybe we can spend all day at the pool and enjoy club benefits during our check out day. I know - that makes me cheap huh?

We've never rented a cabana but since you primarily have adults in your party I would suggest the villa pool.

It's such a lovely setting (and it's more quiet) and when we were at PBH over Memorial Day weekend the villa pool did not have nearly as much traffic as the beach pool. It was still busy, but not unpleasantly so.

Just my two cents. Have a good trip!

Did they finally put cabanas at the Beach pool? I know it was being discussed, but last time we stayed at PBH, they hadn't put any in. We actually ended up renting a couple at the Hard Rock because we preferred that pool over the Villa Pool for kids. Would have loved to have one at the Beach Pool.

Our party had 4 adults and 7 children ranging in age from teens to the youngest at 9. We rented two at the Hard Rock, one for the kids and one for the adults, and decided that next time, we could do with one. But that was because the kids were in the pool most of the time. Don't know the size of the PBH cabanas in relation to the Hard Rock (I think they are a bit smaller), but the ones at the Hard Rock would easily accomodate 8 adults.

Thanks to the both of you! They do have cabanas for rental at the beach pool now. That is what I currently have rented.

The only child that will be in the pool would be my niece who is two (the other two are infants), so i just might switch it to the villa pool. Since we will be spending the entire day there - I think it might not be as crowded.

Thanks for the input! Leaving on Thursday for Orlando! YIPPEEE.
