My family was able to stay two nights at the PBH on last Saturday and Sunday. We were able to use our entertainment card and get a rare of $150.00 per night. When we pulled up I knew it was going to be a special time. We were able to check in at 8:00am on Saturday and the people were very friendly. I asked if we could get an upgrade and the lady told us that would not be a problem. They gave us a pool view room overlooking the main pool. The rooms were very nice and big and the bathroom was large also.
We went straight to the parks and the crowds were not that bad. We used the FOTL pass when it was needed.To me this is worth very much due to the fact we have a 2 and 7 year old. The extra price for a room at universal is worth it just for the fact of FOTL. We rode most all of the rides we wanted to and came back after lunch to let our little one rest. My oldest girl and I went to swim and the pool was great.
On our 2nd day we went to DW and much to our suprise it was not a crowded as we have seen it before. We went back to the room and it seems that they clean your room twice a day. This is nice due to the fact we have 2 littlle tornados. After the rest we asked the kids if the wanted to go abck to DW or swim and the wanted to go to the pool.
In all we had a great time and would have loved to stay a few more days. We did not eat at the hotel but the food seemed a little high. We did eat at the NASCAR Cafe and it was good. We did get a late treat at the ice cream store at the hotel. I found myself just wanting to stay at the hotel because it has many things to see and do. For the price we got a good deal and would tell people even if you do not like theme parks the stay at the hotel is worth it.
