Hi. I really need some help from you experts. DH, DDs 13 and 10 are doing Universal for first time ever and we are unsure about where to stay. We have decided to stay onsite bc of WWoHP ee and FOTL and will most likely use club level. We have done wdw many times and have stayed at GF, Poly and YC. YC is probably our favorite. We enjoy nice hotels and would stay at the RC (have stayed there in the past for a non theme park vacation) near US if it offered the perks. We will spend most of our 2wk trip elsewhere in Florida and will stay 2-3 nights with 3-4 full days in mid March. So with all that background - where should we stay HR or PB? As you can tell, the resort really matters to us as we enjoy our downtime poolside or in the hotel and we like a nice room. Thanks in advance for your help

We always stay at HRH because it is my DS11's favorite - seems the cool rocker vibe resonates well with tweens and teens, but PBH is probably the closest aesthetically to your other favorite hotels. It offers the largest rooms on property and the decor is closest to something like GF, YC. Another option if you would rather stay at RC - haven't stayed at the Orlando location, but have had many enjoyable times at others across the US - is to purchase Universal's VIP park-to-park ticket, which offers unlimited Express Pass like the on site hotels. The only thing you would miss out on would be the early entrance, which we didn't even use our second trip the week before Christmas except for one day - we were able to do so much more during the last two hours of the evening at HP that it wasn't worth missing morning sleep to get up and go. We love staying on site and can't recommend it enough - being able to walk back to the hotel anytime and Express Pass makes all the difference, but I do love a good RC, too :goodvibes

Thank you! This is just the kind of advice I was looking for. After thinking it through, we definitely like onsite so RC is out. Even at wdw we stay at an EP resort for EP and DS and at a monorail resort for MK. Usually do AK on check-in or check out day. I guess we just like to be immersed and have an easy time with transportation. So I think we will do PB. Thank you!
