Are the PB&J sandwiches in the park the frozen smuckers ones, or a real sandwich on real bread??

Thanks.

My toddler loves PB&J, but won't eat the smucker ones.

I'm not sure about the pbj in the park, but when we go, I bring a loaf of bread and a jar of pb&j and make sandwiches in the morning. That way we can just grab a sandwich while we're in line for something and can save a little time and $.
Have fun!

I know at Aunt Polly's, specifically, they sell the Uncrustables. Vile, aren't they? :p

I'm not an advocate of "outside food" at the parks, but you can get cute little square (or triangular) containers (Ziplock or Gladware) and make a PB&J in the morning, then bring it along for your toddler with ease. Certainly no one would mind if a toddler munched on homemade food while the adults eat at the counter service places :)

I had a feeling they were the uncrustables. Yes...my toddler thinks they are very vile. We are renting a house (I am traveling with my in-laws) can you say HELP. We were going to do a grocery run when we got down there, now I will add that to my list. Thanks again :)

Pinocchios House or whatever it's called in MK has real PB&J. No Uncrustables. My DD was not very happy when they gave us the real thing. She had a thing for the Uncrustables.

Wow, have they started serving pbj at Aunt Polly's again? Woah. I don't know what uncrustables are, but they used to have "real" double decker ones years ago. And cold fried chicken. And big pickles. And I think sweet tea, right? Anyway, I had a double decker at plaza pavillion a couple of years ago, it didn't seem any more pre-fab to me than any other pbj at disneyworld would be...

Yes - Aunt Polly's has a kids' box lunch that includes a Smuckers Uncrustable and chips and a drink, I believe, now.

Not in the park but ESPN had a double decker real thing pb&j last time we were there.

Again, not in the parks, but Whispering Canyon has a really good PB&J on thick freshbaked white bread!

my son had PB&J at Whispering Canyon... They serve it with chips and some grapes. Double decker on white bread, cut into quarter triangles. They were huge.

My daughter (2 years old at the time) wouldn't eat pb&j sandwiches at home but she absolutely loved the uncrustables at WDW this past May. She ate them at the parks and at the resort. Soooooo, I bought them when we got home and she wouldn't touch them! Kids, go figure ;) :D.

At 50s Prime Time in MGM Studios, the PB&J sandwich is a normal sandwich on white bread. My son got that meal which came with chips. He then wanted another sandwich, which they brought out and charged an extra $3.

How funny, I thought my toddler was the only one who loves PB&J but won't touch Uncrustables! I bought a box of Uncrustables recently thinking it would be a fun "treat" for a picnic lunch and DS completely rejected it! Maybe it's because we always use whole wheat bread and Uncrustables are white?

At WDW recently we just took a PB&J in a baggie every day for DS and he happily ate that while we ate our counter service meals.

Wow...my toddler is the same. PB&J on whole wheat bread. Thanks everyone for all your input. I will be bringing my own. My easier than dealing with an unhappy little boy :)

I'm an adult and I like pb&j on whole wheat too, and bring it in the park. I spend plenty on everything else there, so I don't feel bad about having a snack to tide me over!
Have a wonderful trip!

Last time we were at Epcot we tried the buffet in Norway (I forget the name of the restaurant) and my husband loved it. My son and I almost starved to death because the only thing we could find to eat on the buffet was a piece of ham on pita bread. Definitely not our kind of food. My 3 year old was able to get a pb&j (smuckers uncrustable). She loved it!! My son and I was drooling over it. Now, everytime I sit and read the boards I always get a craving for one of these uncrustables. Pretty soon my behind will not fit in the chair if I keep "researching" our next WDW trip in February!!LOL. :teeth:

I do remember that Tusker House in AK had Pb&jelly on rainbow bread. Looked very pretty but freaked my plain white bread kids out too much to eat.

We were at WDW last week and everytime the kids wanted PB&J it was the uncrustables that were served.

Thanks for the laugh, I thought my dd was the only one! I was thinking "wow, cool sandwich" and my dd was totally not going to eat that sandwich.

I would venture to say that 90% of the pbj's at the parks are the uncrustables now. My girls like them but prefer a regular sandwich on whole grain or wheat bread. My 7yo thinks they are a dessert!

I think you have a better chance of getting a real sandwich at a "sit down" type restaurant. IIRC most, if not all, the counter service places have the uncrustables.
