Paypal fees and renting/transferring points

Always add it on..the renters are getting a great deal as it is...though I offer the option of a check on people I know...

My renters always pay for it. Just part of doing business and they are saving a whole lot of money, depsite paying the fees.

When I have rented my (non-DVC) timeshares in the past, I just price it assuming that PayPal will be used. I prefer PayPal for the simplicity on both sides' of the transaction, but if someone wanted to pay by a check, they could. Almost no one ever wants to.

If a renter uses a credit card to pay via PayPal then I charge them the 3% fee

We rented points for an upcoming stay and used paypal. I had no problem paying the small paypal fee since the renter told me upfront that's what was expected ($10 pp). He has been nothing but professional, and reassuring every step along the way- I had a ton of questions/worries since this is our first time renting and we have had a great experience and will hopefully rent from him for all future trips!
