Payments???Reservations

If we make reservations can payments be made?
If so how much of a deposit is required?
How often are payments due?

It requires a 200 dollar deposit, and then you have to pay the rest of the trip a month before (I'm pretty sure it's a month or maybe 45 days) before your trip

A $200 deposit is required to book the reservation then final payment made (Oooh, I forgot exactly! ) something like 60 or 90 days before check in.

I don't think payments can be made.

If you book directly through Disney (online or on the phone), you have to pay a $200 deposit. Online it's due right then and there - by phone they'll give you 14 days to submit the dep. (that way you can send in a check instead of using cc. Then you can make payments - as many and as often as you'd like, until the balance is paid in full - which must happen 45 days prior to arrival.

If you use a travel agent - you'll have to check with them. As the previous poster said, payments weren't possible.

The amount of the deposit depends on what you are booking. If you are booking a "Room Only" ressie you only have to pay one night's stay as a deposit. If you are booking a package you have to pay a $200 deposit. The cancellation procedures and payment procedures are also different based on what you book.

As others have mentioned, you can book a package with a $200 deposit. You CAN make payments. Once you have your reservation number, go onto the Disney website and enter your information. You'll need the ressie number and the phone number you gave them whne you booked. Then your ressie will pop up. On the bottom it says "make a payment." You can make your WHOLE final payment (which is due 45 days before your trip) OR you can make any payment in at least $20 increments.

I booked with a TA and call her monthly to make a payment. I hope to have most of it paid before the final payment due date in July.

Both with WDW Travel Company and AAA, you call, they hold the reservation for 14 days. YOu pay the $200 deposit and can make any number of payments whenever you want to based on your situation until the package is paid. BUT, it must be paid 45 days prior to checkin.
