Payment option when renting points.

i'm trying to rent 44 points for OKW next aug(20-24th). i asumed i could use paypal to tran money but a DVC owner said he isn't set up to accept payment from UK( what with coversion rates etc) he has asked me to look into another relible way of making payment- Any ideas??

How about a cashier's check in American funds?

You can also go to your local bank and order Traveler's Checks in U.S. Funds, and just make them payable to the DVC Owner.

This is how we often send monetary gifts to our relatives overseas.

I agree with the above statements but as Paypal user I have accepted funds from foreign buyers many times without a problem (Paypal does the conversion for you).

i think i'd feel happier using paypal- has the transation been any different with UK renter than US? and was the exchnage rate ok?

I used Paypal as a seller on eBay with buyers from the UK with no problems, but never did a DVC rental.
