Hi

We have been to Florida before but have always stayed in villas and this will be our first time stopping on Disney property (CBR)We are booking our flights and car hire separate to our room which we are booking direct through Disney. Could anyone tell me when we pay for our room at Disney - is it at check in or check out?

Thanks

I booked through WDWTC and had to pay the balance 30 days before arrival!!!

I think if you book over the phone with WDWTC you have to pay 30-40 days before check in, if you book over the net they normally take 1 night deposit off your credit card straight away with the balance at check in, Least thats what happened to me!!

Well I've got a different version!!! I booked 6 nights for December in the early part of September & had to pay the lot there & then on my CC & have the bill to prove it! That said, maybe it was because we got a discount code - who knows.

I booked our stay in May and paid for 1 nights stay at each of the two Disney resorts, with the rest payable on check in. Applied Ap rates when they came out in August, but didn't pay anything further at that stage.

We booked in February for 6 nights at Movies 27th Nov, paid the deposit then and paid the outstanding amount 2 weeks ago. They sent a letter with the reminder and just rang them with the cc details.

Hi
We've just booked via Dreams for 25 nights next August. The booking has been split into three linked bookings to hopefully make use of discount codes if available. We have paid one nights deposit for each of the three bookings with the balance payable on check in.

if you call disney, make sure you are talking with Central Reservations and not the travel company...
the travel company makes you pay everything in advance..

with the regular central reservations, you pay one night's deposit in advance and then the balance when you check in....
(so if you're staying for 3 weeks like we often do, it's a major hit on your card all at once....american express just adore us)...
