Payment at the Food & Wine Festival

Do the individual booth take credit cards or just cash? Have never attended the F& WF before and just trying to get some idea of how it works.

from what I recall, most (if not all) take credit cards as well as cash... or if you are staying on property and have charging set up on your room key you can use that too...

Be careful if using a credit card or your room key. Last year it seemed some of the CMs were not experienced at working with them and we had two different food booths overcharge us (one had charged us twice and one had charged us three times for the same amount). Apparently they ran the card through without realizing the transaction was already processing. We were able to straighten the charges out when we paid our bill, but it was an inconvenience.

F&W Festival will take CC and room charges, but what we do to make it simpler for all concerned is we go to guest relations on our way in, (or at our resort), and purchase $50 in Disney Dollars on our CC. That way we still get the points/miles on our CC and keep it simple for the folks working at the F&W booths. It is not considered a cash advance on your CC.

We usually have less than $50 in real cash for our WDW trips. We only bring that for miscellanous tips outside of WDW.

I would use cash, on several occasions the credit card machines were down.
