payment at check in?

I am not sure if this has been asked here but... I am going to be paying in cash for our stay at the Poly, do I pay the entire amount (7 days) upon check in? I hate to have $2,000 lying around in the room. I know they have room safes, but I'd feel better paying upfront just to get it out of the way. I can leave a credit card if they need one for phone charges or whatever, but we won't want the room charge added to the key. Thanks for any info...

Actually, you're required to pay for the resort at check-in, so you'll use that $ fast!

Wouldn't you rather write a check or use a debit card?

You can also get your cash made into traveler's cheques and use those for payment
