Just got my payless crocs..OMG they are sooo ugly but they were on sale..Everything buy 1 get on 1/2 price so I got a pair for me, dd 7, ds 5 and a pair of tennis shoes for dd 7 and spent $44!! So we will see how they are and if I like them enough I will buy the better ones for WDW. DD's are the pink/purple tie dye,,very cute, DS got the green/yellow tie dye,,,DH will freak out when he sees them...Oh well..they are cute on his little feet. :teeth:

How funny... I just got my DS (5) a pair of the green/yellow swirl ones and my husband said, " WHere is he gonna wear those...the circus?" Actually DS picked them out....I was pushing for the solid color...but he looked cute in the green. I have the real ones...and love them! :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Thats exactly the type reaction I am waiting for. LOL I kept pushing for the solid ones too (he wanted the yellow first) or preferably none at all but oh no it was either the bright need sunglasses yellow or the tie dyes so I gave in and he went with the green/yellow tie dyes  . I figure he is only going to wear them when he wants to go out and play. easier for him to put on then his tennis shoes. :thumbsup2

I actually prefer the Payless version to the Croc brand. For whatever reason, they fit MY feet better in the right places. The Croc version, after trying on several times, rubs athe side of my right foot in a spot where I know a blister would start. Never had an issue with the Payless...survived two trips to WDW and one to DL!

DO NOT get the Wal-Mart version....HARD AS A ROCK!

Payless had the Airwalk "Crocs" on sale for $10.99 kids and $12.99 adults.
DD and I both purchased a blue pair.
We thought they were ugly at first sight, but it was funny because alot of people were trying them on at the Mall.

We thought they felt nice.

After purchasing them, DD took off her Sketchers and started walking arround the Mall of America with them. She figured it would be a "test" to see if she could handle wearing them at DisneyWorld.
She said they made her feel feel great! She said they felt like slippers on her feet!

I was too embarrassed to wear mine right away, so I have been wearing them as my "slippers" at home and have to admit that they are pretty comfy!!!!

Not sure If I will wear them alot out in public, but I will be bringing them with me on my DisneyWorld trip so we can fit in with the "Croc" trend. :lmao:

Just curious....did you try dryer-stretching the crocs? Mine were a bit tight across the top of my foot when I got them. Dryer-stretched them, and now they are absolutely perfect. I can hardly feel them on my feet at all.

By dryer stretching, do you mean putting them in a dryer to heat them, and then putting them on your feet to mold them while they are still warm? I've never tried that.

Actually, the way I did mine was to put them in the dryer for 10 minutes, and then put on 4 pairs of socks and then the warm crocs and walk around in them for about an hour. After that, they are looser, but I don't have any problems keeping them on my feet. Definitely helps with any spots where they might rub a little. Mine were a little too tight across the top, and now they are perfect.
