Paying with gift cards

Greetings,
Does anyone know if you pay with gifts cards and are DVC members or Annual Passholders are you still entitled to discounts? Or do you have to pay with credit card or cash?

You can pay dues using gidtcard, but not the upfront contract.
There are in park discounts for AP and DVC. They can be looked up, and mousesavers has a pretty up to date list.

We charge some meals and souvenir on the magic band and paid at the front desk with the gifcards, we got the AP discount when available with no problem. Have a great trip!

I know you can definitely pay with gift cards in stores and still receive the AP/DVC discount. I haven't done this at a restaurant, but I assume you should be able to as well.

Discounts are given no matter your form of payment. You will just need to show your AP/DVC card as proof your are eligible for the discount. Inform server or cashier you will be using a discount and they will apply it before you pay.

Except for the Disney Rewards Visa Discount. For that one, you must pay with either a Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card.
