paying with gift cards

im sure this has been asked a trillion times..... can I pay my entire trip in Disney gift cards or does Disney place a limit on the amt used.

I'm new around here, too. I've seen tons of conversations about how to get the best deal on gift cards...but I hadn't heard of a limit. I just did a search and couldn't find the answer to this question...so I'll keep digging, but if someone wanted to be kind and point us in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated. My payment is due this Thursday, and I was planning to pay the entire vacation in gift cards!!

I don't know the answer to your question for sure, but I'm pretty sure there is NO limit. As far as I know, the only problem will be the length of time it takes to take down all the numbers from each gift card.
Were you planning on paying your room off with them before your trip? I know you can call Disney or your travel agent with the numbers.
If you're planning on paying off any purchases made on your Magic Bands with the gc's, just be sure to do so before midnight on the night before you check out. Disney will run your credit card right around then.

You can pay with 1000 different gift cards if you wanted to. All you'll be doing is testing the CM's patience Most of the time they do it with a smile on their faces!

Phew!!! Thanks so much!!! I was worried...I just bought $2500 in gift cards today, and I'll be buying another 1500 when the debit clears my bank from my Red Card. My TA just wants me to scan copies of the numbers (like 10 to a page) and she'll call Disney and get them all processed to my account. Thanks!!!!!

Load as many GCs on the account as you want but just enough to pay for your Vacation.

Call Disney and give them the one account number - DONE!

Yes, we do this every trip, normally in $50 increments. we even bring more gift cards to pay for stuff we charge to the room.

Dont get rid of the gift cards till after your trip. If you ever have to cancel or get a discount Disney refunds the money back to the org gift cards.
