Paying too much for flight?

I have been looking for a good price for my friend and I to fly from Pittsburgh. I found a flight round trip for $450. That's for the both of us. Is this a good price? I have downloaded Ding, But so far nothing has come up for our dates. We are going on Sept. 25th.Should I wait or book that now? God I hope I'm doing all this right! Thank's guy's.

I would check out the transportation board. There are some Ding experts over there who would be better able to answer your question. Without a Ding, that fare looks pretty good to me- but I'm from VT with few options.

Actually $225 each r/t isn't that bad of a deal.

I think the fare is reasonable. I am looking at fares costing $302 and up for one person. I miss Independence Air.

Have you checked Airtran? I don't know your return date, but they have an $89 (plus tax) fare for the 25th of September from PIT today...

$225 is OK but you maybe able to do better. I paid $177 on Southwest for my trip to FL today. I am still waiting for better prices for October, right now Southwest is $209 (Oct 22-27).
