On our departure day, we will be heading to Disney Springs to eat and shop for about 3-4 hours before leaving for home. The Marketplace location is where I plan on being. Not much outside of that do we care for, been there, done that. I am really considering paying the $10 to park in the Lemon lot that morning. Do you think it would be worth it?

What is the lemon lot?
Disney Springs names their parking lots after fruits...lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, watermelon. The lemon and watermelon lots have an upcharge to park there <insert surprised face here>. The other lots are free but less convenient.

Sounds like a car lot for lemons, right. Ya, its worth it to me. I know the mouse needs the money.

I knew about the lime and orange lots. Are the others new?

I'm too cheap to pay. It sounds like you will be there fairly early, I seem to recall one of the lots was quite convenient to the Marketplace area, should be plenty of free spots.

The lemon and grapefruit lots used to be valet parking. They because premium self-parking lots about a year ago.

We thought the orange and lime lots were pretty convenient. Nice that they let you know how many spaces are available at each level. If you are early, park on level 2 for the easiest exit. We are 78 and 80 years old and didn't think the walk was too bad, but prefer the lime lot for Disney Marketplace, Earl of Sandwich, etc.

Thanks for the advice. Will note.

I am so glad that we stay at Congress Park at SSR so only have to walk a few yards to be at DS.
