We have always paid for our room with our Disney Visa. At the end of this trip, I would like to put what's left on our Rewards card towards the room bill. Is that possible?~:)~

Not really sure if that works for the incidentals. You would need to activate your rewards dollars onto your rewards card and I'm guessing they won't let you set that against the room. Why not call the hotel and ask, might be the only way to be sure.

We have done it at check in don't know if you can do it at check out. :confused3

There is some confusion on your question (maybe just me).

Are you asking if the points you earned paying with the Visa can be used to pay for room charges ON THE SAME STAY? The answer would be no because you don't get credited with the rewards points immediately.

But if you transfer your points to your rewards card before your trip and want to use the points on the card to pay for charges you made to your room key, the answer is yes. Just do it the last night of your stay, (rather than the next morning when you check out) because (in the morning) the charges would have already been charged to your credit card.

It wasn't just you Ed. I read it the same way and I think your response is correct.

I did something similar in October at Ft. Wilderness.

I was at Disney October 6th - 20th.

My Disney Visa billing cycle ended on October 8th. Every day after the 8th, I checked my rewards balance, and as soon as the points credited I transferred my points to my Disney Rewards Card, then took it to the front desk of Ft. Wilderness and paid on my account. (My actual room charges had already been paid, but I had meals and other charges on my room account.)

In order to do this you must already have a plastic rewards card. Plus I had my laptop with internet access.

I already have a rewards card, zero balance from last trip, expires 12/08. I have around $400 in rewards I will transfer, but don't want to put any towards room until I see how much we use in the parks (thus asking about using it at end of trip). Don't want to leave any on the card (they will expire). Not worried about rewards for what I charge to Visa Card while we're there, we'll use those next time. Make sense?:confused3

OK. Maybe I am reading too much into this, but are you asking if you can wait until the end of your stay and pay for the COST OF YOUR ROOM using the rewards card? The answer to this would be no. If you are on a package, you would have paid for your room before you arrived. If you are on a room only, you will pay for your room at time of check in.

We spent a night at Pop in August, with a room-only reservation for that one night. After dinner that night, I went to the front desk and used the Rewards card to pay for the room and everything we charged to the room that day, no problem.

I think this is the answer I was looking for. I have a room only ressie, deposit paid, and I know they will take my charge card when I check in, but will not charge it until the last morning. So I will take what is left on my rewards card and put it towards the room on our last night. Thanks!~:)~
