Paying OOP for a meal for 10 year old on DDP

We've had the dining plan before, but on our next trip my daughter will, for the first time, be an 'adult' on the DDP. She is a vegetarian and a pretty picky eater. We plan on having dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe one evening, but there is nothing on the adult menu she will touch. Her usual is the kids mac & cheese which is $9. Can I pay for my husband and I using the DDP and ask to pay for hers OOP? That way, I can save her 'adult' credit to put towards another meal that would be much more worth while for us like a character meal. Will there be an issue with this that you can see? Has anyone had an experience with something similar? Thanks!

You can definitely do this
