So from the info I've gathered, once your MB is set to a credit card you can swipe it wherever you go, punch in your PIN and shop away. They than run your balance sometime during your last evening/check out.
We are staying at a Value resort so I know we are allowed $500 on the account. That is perfect since my spending budget including tips (we are on the DDP) is $500 or less.
I've also seen that if you go up to the desk before they run it you can use gift cards or cash to pay off that balance.
What I'd like to know is what can be used to pay the balance. I have $150 in Visa gift cards I collected with my PC points (they do say valid in the US), as well as $50 in Disney gift cards I collected with my movie rewards points. If I take all those up to the front desk the morning before my check out day can I use them to pay off whatever has been added up until than? Obviously with the Visa GC I lose the exchange plus their 2.5% fee...but in my world its 'free' money so still better than coming off my credit card.
Am I making sense? I would just prefer not to bring much cash to the parks, and like the idea of the printed sheet with all purchases...but don't want to head home and realize I swiped the MB so often I forgot to use the gift cards I collected.
TIA
